LATEST NEWS: SYDNEY ADVANCED TUNING COURSE A HUGE SUCCESS WITH MEDIA AND PARTICIPANTS

On April 17th and 18th MSA conducted a 2 day Advanced Dyno Tuning Course in Sydney. This being the first time this particular course was on offer in New South Wales, it attracted huge interest and AutoSalon Magazine sent a journalist and photographer to participate for the duration of the course. Among our other participants were staff from high profile auto-industry corporations, Haltech and Dyno Dynamics.

Highlights of the course included a 3 way fuel test that demonstrated how to re-tune a vehicle to run on Methanol fuel using some very easy steps. A hands on problem solving excercise on a V8 Lexus motor and Mazda Turbo Rotary motor, both running on stands, kept registrants busy on day 2 and provided a chance to put Day 1 learnings into pracitice.

Small groups spent time with course facilitator Tim Possingham on the dyno in an R32 GTR whilst actually tuning the engine using techniques discussed in the course. This gave participants an opportunity to see results accurately displayed on the Dyno Dynamics 450DS dyno whilst changes were made utilising techniques delivered in the course content.
